Rehearsing the failure path

Backup failures often surface during recovery: an incomplete archive, an unexpectedly long restore, or a runbook that references stale infrastructure. Scheduled drills expose those failures while production is healthy.

Every CheapDB Postgres cluster streams WAL off-cluster continuously and takes scheduled base backups. Automated drills restore into isolated environments, then record duration, recovery point, and verification status in the console.

Measured failover and recovery results across independent failure domains will establish the SLA. The drill history provides the underlying evidence throughout that process.

Run it yourself.
